Total inventory of single family homes in Howard County has increased 54.5% since this time last year (May 2013), from 677 to 1046 units. What does this mean?
It’s harder to sell your house because there is more inventory to choose from than any time in the past three years. With more homes for buyers to choose from, yours has to really stand out in order to sell fast.
If these trends persist (more inventory, less demand), it will become more of a buyer’s market – sellers will have to price their homes more competitively in order to secure a contract.
